Illustration Friday: Seed

I have a couple illustrations in my archive that were suitable for this week's Illustration Friday topic, "seed," but this one seemed to fit best. It was for a sci-fi story that appeared in a home and garden magazine... wha?

How perfect a seed would be to a world as complicated as the one pictured.

I've always liked this piece and it fits the IF topic perfectly. I admire the fact that you resisted the temptation to over-work the drawing and colorization. It's appropriate that an illustration about life should convey that in and of itself (a slight looseness which gives the line art and colors character and a subtle almost poetic quality.) Nice!

Wonderful!
So glowing with hope.
Nicely done, too.
Have a nice day.
