Educational Work

I've been busy working on illustrations for an educational publisher. The client was looking for black and white illustrations with no outlines. My portfolio was lacking that type of work but I felt it was well within my comfort zone. I whipped up a sample and convinced the client I was a good fit. FYI: The fellow is this illustration survives his heart attack!

An educational publisher, huh? Is our intrepid MI going into a textbook of some sort?

I love that sad looking kid in the picture on his desk. Nice touch! Also, great little details on the desk chair.

Nice to see a different syle represented on your blog and portfolio. It's clean, different and fun (well, except for the heat attack!) Will we see the final "girl raking leaves" illustration before all the leaves fall of the real trees in NH? Hope so. That looks like it's going to be a sweet piece!

Nice job! Still has enough contrast without the lines! Glad he could survive the heart attack too!
